⁴Their young ones grow big and strong in the wild country.
Then they leave their homes and do not return.

Who untied ·its ropes [^Lthe Arabian onager from its bonds; ^Canother Hebrew word for a wild donkey]?
⁶I am the one who gave ·the donkey [^Lit] the ·desert [steppe] as its home;
I gave it the ·desert [^Lsalt] lands as a place to live.
